LC Formally Accepted into Xaverian Network

As many of you already know, much work has taken place during the past few years to position Lowell Catholic High School as the Catholic high school of choice for those students and families in Lowell and the Merrimack Valley who desire a Catholic college-preparatory education of a holistic nature in a small, values-centered community.  The Lowell Catholic Board of Trustees, school leadership, administration and staff have been working hard to make sure LC offers an education that encompasses every dimension of human growth and development - intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical.  It is their desire that the school reaches its full potential and be the best it can be.

Together we are on a journey fondly referred to as the “road to excellence.”  As part of this journey, we formally applied in September to become a member of the Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Network of Schools.

We are proud to announce that the Xaverian network has accepted our application and we will soon be joining an elite group of institutions that include Malden Catholic, St. John’s Prep, Xaverian, and St. John's High School in Shrewsbury.  Along with the other schools in the network, Lowell Catholic is embracing the Xaverian Governance model...a model that allows us to maintain our unique identity, history and tradition.  (To learn more about XBSS, please visit http://www.xbss.org/ .)
