St. X Division

The St. X Experience  (Grades 7–8)

The St. X Division (Grades 7 & 8) at Lowell Catholic is designed specifically to support students during the critical middle school years of growth, transition, and discovery. Our program provides a structured, nurturing environment where students are challenged academically while being supported socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Recognizing that middle school is a time of significant development, we focus on helping students build confidence, independence, organization, and strong study habits. Teachers work closely with students to support academic progress while also helping them develop the skills needed for success in high school and beyond.

Students are placed in homerooms that foster connection, belonging, and consistency throughout the school day. This structure allows teachers to know students well and respond to their individual academic and developmental needs.

Learning in the St. X Division extends beyond the classroom through intentional opportunities designed for middle school students. These experiences encourage students to explore their interests, build friendships, develop leadership skills, and engage in the life of the school community.

Within a supportive and caring environment, students are encouraged to grow as confident, responsible, and compassionate young people. The St. X Division serves as a strong bridge between elementary school and high school, preparing students not only for academic success, but for a smooth and confident transition into the 9–12 experience at Lowell Catholic.
