How to Apply
All candidates for admission apply to Lowell Catholic using Rediker. Please click “create an account” if you do not already have a Rediker account. Enter your email and chosen password. From there, you will be able to input the applicants name and grade they are applying for. Be sure to select 26/27 school year if you’re applying for this school year! The 27/28 school year is only for applicants looking for Fall 2027 start. You’ll be able to track your application materials progress on your dashboard. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Thank you for your interest in Lowell Catholic! We look forward to reviewing your application materials. All applicants that submit their application materials and HSPT scores by December 18, 2026 will be automatically considered for a merit scholarship. Admission decisions are released by the end of January. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@lowellcatholic.org.
High School Admission Criteria

- Transcripts including grades, attendance/discipline record
- Current Math teacher recommendation through Rediker
- Current English Teacher recommendation through Rediker
- Copy of IEP/504 Plan emailed to admissions@lowellcatholic.org (if applicable)
- Please note: The results of a new testing report, written academic plan, or outside evaluation after initial acceptance could alter student placement at Lowell Catholic and ultimately lead to a rescind of acceptance. This is at the discretion of the educational team. As a private Catholic school, we provide minor/moderate IEP support. All parents/guardians will be required to sign a Lowell Catholic accommodation plan prior to acceptance.
- School Principal or School Guidance Counselor release of transcripts form (this also releases attendance and any conduct/discipline records). This form is not an official release of records withdrawal form.
- **For incoming grade 9: Include Lowell Catholic as a testing school (026) and have results of Archdiocese High School Placement Test (HSPT) sent. This test can only be taken once.
HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST
As part of the Catholic high school admission process, all students must take the Archdiocese of Boston High School Placement Test (HSPT). Lowell Catholic will be offering the test in-person on the dates below. Students must register for the test. Students are only allowed to take the test once. Students should arrive between 8:00 AM - 8:10 AM. Tests start promptly by 8:30 AM. No student will be permitted in the classroom after the test starts.
There is a $40.00 fee to Scholastic required.

- Admission Decision: All admission materials, including any educational plans must be submitted prior to the Interview. After completion of the Interview, admission decisions will be sent within 48 hours, unless otherwise noted.

- Early Childhood Program Assessment Test: Students entering the Early Childhood Program (Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten) will be required to come in for a brief assessment test. Please note students must be age 5 by September 1 to enroll in Kindergarten.
- Admission Decision: All admission materials, including any educational plans must be submitted prior to the Meet & Greet. After completion of the Meet & Greet, admission decisions will be sent within 48 hours, unless otherwise noted.
Assessments for Preschool-Kindergarten applicants begin in February 2027 and continue throughout the spring and summer. There is no deadline for applications, spots are filled on a first come first serve basis.
