Athletics at LC

Lowell Catholic offers a variety of sports for those students wishing to participate in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Participation in athletics offers an opportunity for self-growth by allowing students to develop their awareness and life skills. It is the aim of the Lowell Catholic athletic program to provide an outlet where students can establish confidence and discover the importance of commitment and working together, encouraging the development of one cohesive community.
Athletic Philosophy
Lowell Catholic's athletic program is an extension of its academic program. The school's coaches are teachers and the city's gymnasiums, stadiums, and athletic fields are their classrooms. Through participation in varsity and junior varsity sports, students learn important lessons in the areas of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. As an institution that strives to fully develop each student’s potential, Lowell Catholic realizes the importance of fair play and honest and respectful competition. The school believes that a sound interscholastic athletic program provides the participant with physical, mental, moral, emotional and social benefits.
